Attack Journalism

I remember reading about "attack journalism" in Baughman, chapter 10.  It emerged in the 1970's and 1980's, where journalists actually started specializing in exposing misdeeds such as intermarital affairs by government officials.  I found it interesting that this video talks about how "attack journalism" is still around today, but that if a journalist actually attacks, it may be a career ender.  He also brings up that there is a fine line between "attack journalism" and "aggressive journalism," because journalists are supposed to be objective, but at the same time, a journalist's job is to expose things and ultimately be a watchdog for the government.
